Long haul low cost carriers recognise the value of A330 assets

The Airbus A330 has evolved as a medium to long haul workhorse over the past two decades. More recently its economic value has been buffeted by technology change (330NEO), competition with the 787 and a certain malaise around Big Twins. However, leading airlines including Lufthansa and IAG have underscored the aircraft’s economic value by endorsing its deployment in their long haul low cost units (Eurowings and LEVEL respectively). That should encourage investors to consider the type amid turbulent market values.
