FTAI lease and part-out deal helps WestJet kick off its 737-700 retirement plans
Following quickly on from closing a major financing deal for its second aircraft investment fund, FTAI has agreed a deal for 27 WestJet aircraft that will feed into both its fast-scaling current technology narrowbody aircraft leasing business as well as its long-standing, core engine maintenance, repair and exchange business.
