Aircraft ABS Perseus launches its second aircraft ABSPerseus Asset Management is following up its February 2026 debut aircraft ABS issuance with the firm currently in the market with its MAPS 2026-2 offering. Perseus Asset Management is part of Apollo's aviation leasing and finance platform, Perseus Aviation and its previous issuance, MAPS 2026-1, was $680.1m deal backed by a portfolio of 27 aircraft assets with a weighted average age of 9 years. Leasing Business KKR increases commitment in aircraft leasing with $1.4 billion Altavair dealPrivate equity giant KKR has committed further capital to the aircraft leasing sector as the firm's longstanding strategic partnership with Altavair has 'deepened' its conviction on the attractiveness of aircraft leasing. The latest deal sees KKR make a $1.4 billion equity commitment to continue expanding its global portfolio of leased commercial aircraft in partnership with Altavair. The move follows on from KKR's early 2026 move to increase its ownership stake in the Seattle-headquartered aircraft leasing platform, having made an initial investment in Altavair 2018 when it acquired a 50 per cent stake. |

Japan's ITOCHU Corporation has invested in Sirius Aviation Capital Holdings, the Abu Dhabi-headquartered aviation investment manager specialising in the mid-life aircraft segment, as investor interest in aviation finance businesses remains strong. ITOCHU said the deal will allow it to strengthen its aviation business, creating opportunities for it to grow its activities within the aircraft value chain and expand its commercial aircraft business.
