Transportation analyst and director of the equity research team at Dahlman Rose HELANE BECKER speaks to Aviation Finance about her positive predictions for the aircraft leasing industry. She says that as lessors begin to access unsecured financing as market confidence in their strength and balance sheets grows, more US airlines will be inclined to sign up with them and ultimately lessors will enjoy more and more economies of scale. Becker also discusses what she perceives to be the most critical aspect of risk management for airlines at the moment, the valuation of mid-life assets.
