Azorra moves quickly to secure major E-Jet portfolio as DAE Capital revamps portfolio following NAC deal close

Regional aircraft lessor Azorra has agreed to buy 49 Embraer E-Jets and two GE CF-34 engines from fellow lessor DAE Capital. DAE Capital recently closed the acquisition of Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), formerly the largest regional aircraft lessor, and this agreement between DAE Capital and Azorra can be seen as the continuation of the strong aircraft trading links between Azorra and NAC - Azorra previously acquired 48 aircraft previously owned by NAC in recent years. For DAE Capital the sale is part of a larger move aimed at, amongst other things, reducing the average age of its fleet.
