Aircraft ABS market expected grow 14% in 2025
Credit ratings agency KBRA forecasts that Aircraft ABS issuance will reach $6.5 billion in 2025, a 14% increase on the 2024 level, that signals a continued recovery in the market following the sharp drop in issuance experienced in 2022 and 2023. While its 2025 issuance expectations remain far below the recent $9 billion+ levels reached in both 2019 and 2021, it does see potential upside in its forecast citing knowledge of a possible 7 aircraft ABS issuances through early Q2 2025. Two which have already gone to market, AASET 2025-1 and CLAS 2025-1, means in early February issuance has almost reach $1.4 billion. LoginIf you are already a subscriber Login here.
