Over fifty inspiring thought leaders now shaping the future of global finance will address themes of product development, current profit strategies for FS companies, risk management, technology, and the new jurisdictional platforms of the future on October 15th: The Aviation Finance Conference 2019, and, on October 16th, The Financial Centres Summit 2019. The Summit, which incorporates both events will present opportunities for delegates to mix at the Summit Reception on the evening of October 15th in Dublin Castle.

The Aviation Finance Conference, (AFC2019): Tuesday 15th October 2019

AFC2019 will present highlights of the publication's overview on the aviation finance and leasing cycle, and consistent with this, Aircraft Trading is the major theme of this year's conference agenda. This is because it is currently a major source of profit for lessors, with aircraft lease rates under pressure, and therefore at this stage in the cycle, an area of heightened interest. Hand in hand with this, we will be asking who are the customers that will make the trading environment attractive? This will feature the insights of investment bankers and investors in aircraft as an asset class.

AFC 2019 will feature panels, and keynote addresses and interviews with aviation financing leaders from all quarters of the globe, with analysts and traders from firms that represent over half of the global commercial aircraft trading market. AFC 2019 will build on the insights of AFC 2018, which featured, as speakers, the CEOs of 40% of the world's leased aircraft fleet. AFC 2019 will provide an important input into the agenda for state of the art aircraft financing in 2020.

9.50 Keynote: Governance and Financial Centres: Mary O'Dea Chief Executive of the Institute of Banking, Ireland, former Acting Chief Executive of Ireland's Financial Regulator in 2009, and subsequently, Alternative Executive Director of the IMF, WashIngton DC, and then Ireland’s representative at the World Bank. Mary joined the Institute in April 2018 from the Central Bank of Ireland where she was Director of Securities and Markets Supervision; she is a Non Executive Director, Euronext Dublin, followed by PANEL SESSION: Asset Management, and Exchange Traded Funds.

Ireland's new clearing and settlement framework after Brexit; The future framework for European CMU & the UK's position after 2021.

Chair: Brian Healy, Atlantic Vantage Advisory, and chair of the Euroclear Bank task force Committee to establish Ireland's new Post Trade Clearing & Settlement infrastructure after Brexit, with a 2021 deadline.

At FCSDublin 2018, The Chief Justice highlighted the options for using Ireland as a Common Law Jurisdiction for international legal finance along with other jurisdictions after Brexit. These included new developments, in relation to the ISDA Master Agreement for Irish courts; Options for using Irish courts in the Resolution/Administration area; The Cape Town Convention, and Arbitration and dispute resolution & Irish courts.

16.30-17.15: PANEL SESSION EMEA, Asian & World Financial Centres - Developing trading links and solutions-based business networks across Financial Centres; Ireland, UK, EMEA, AustralAsia, and the Americas.

17.15-17.45: Summit concludes with a farewell reception
