International Banking Advisory Lead
Cormac Kelly joined the firm in 2014 and works in the Irish financial services advisory practice in Dublin as an executive director focusing on transformation in the banking and capital markets and wealth and asset management sectors.
Prior to his work at EY, Cormac brings with him 25 years' experience working for a number of international banks and advisory firms both in London and Singapore. His primary focus as a Chief Operating Officer was on technology and operations management, transformation and change programs across institutional, retail and corporate banking. He has specific experience across the securities, derivatives, transaction banking and payments businesses with a detailed knowledge around strategy, controls and process management. His experience includes securities, derivatives and payments technology infrastructure as well as operational controls and process management.
Cormac has operated as the program director on a number of large scale technology transformation programs, including core, internet banking, payments and general ledger implementations.
He recently led an Irish engagement for a large investment banking client and ran the transfer of their prime services business to Dublin. He supported their banking application process, business and operational readiness, data migration and program assurance. Cormac is also working on the build-out of our information and cyber security solution in Ireland. He is assisting a number of global banks with the mobilisation of a number of large engagements including their strategy and response to Brexit.
