Goshawk moves into new nest, acquires 51 young aircraft, becomes a Top 10 lessor

CEO Ruth Kelly and her Goshawk Aviation team are on a high. Last weekend they moved into spacious, high quality new offices on long-term lease in the heart of Dublin city centre. This accommodates its Irish-based staff, which currently numbers 60, and provides space to double that number in the future. Just two days before the move Goshawk and the owners of Sky Aviation Leasing International (SALI) signed an agreement in respect of Goshawk's purchase of SALI’s aircraft leasing business, comprising 51 owned and committed aircraft. In an interview this week with Aviation Finance Kelly discussed the genesis of the deal and why it is important for the company as well as its plans for future growth, and its financings. Ruth will be one of the industry leaders speaking at the Aviation Finance annual conference at FCSDUBLIN2018 in October.
