Boeing forecasts funding of $139 billion required for 2018 aircraft deliveries
Boeing Capital has outlined its thoughts on the aircraft financing market facing in to 2018. It notes CAGR global GDP growth has been 2.6% between 2010 and 2016 compared to passenger traffic growth of 5.8% annually over that period. This correlation between GDP and air travel demand, whereby passenger growth exceeds economic growth, is the bedrock upon which all aircraft demand forecasts rely.
